She used to talk about money, now she creates wealth. Christina is a behavioral finance researcher.  Her financial planning style can be described as holistic and evidence-based, with a focus on life-planning and innovation.   

Living out her mission to empower others with their financial journey, Christina serves as an instructor of wealth management at Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies. 

Weekends and early mornings are for hitting the books. Christina is currently a doctoral candidate in personal financial planning at Kansas-State University.  Behavioral finances, divorce finances, and digital assets are topics of her writing. She strives to incorporate her research skills and knowledge into her wealth management work. Likewise, she utilizes her experience as a financial planning practitioner to inform her academic research. She has been published in the Journal of Financial Planning and Counseling as well as the Journal of Financial Planning. 

Innovation and technology also fuel her passion as a member of PlannerDAO, a DAO for financial advisors. In this team of trailblazers, she leads the research working group and is a member of the education working group.

Christina holds a bachelor’s degree from UW-Madison and a master’s degree in family financial planning from South Dakota State University.  As well as multiple professional designations, including

Our website is intended for use by individuals at least age 13. We do not knowingly collect PII from children under age 13. If a child under age 13 has provided us an e-mail address, the child’s parent or legal guardian may remove your child from our e-mail lists by filling in the contact form. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to delete such information from our existing files.
